This weeks
@WeCops is with @CumbriaChief on Response Policing - join us 9pm on Wednesday 👍
Welcome to National Response Policing Week. I am Chief Constable Rob Carden, NPCC Lead for Response Policing. I am pleased to introduce this year’s
#WeCops event, dedicated to Response Policing. The event will be held on Wednesday 26th June.
#WeCops is an excellent opportunity to understand the challenges and opportunities facing Response Officers across the country. In spite of rule changes regarding the use of X, such was the popularity of last year’s event that we still managed to trend at 6th nationally. Although we finished ahead of Spurs and the Repair Workshop, we weren’t able to catch Arsenal or Madonna; something to aim for this year.
The responses we received on the three questions we set last year have been invaluable. Your feedback has helped us to move forward on a range of issues including welfare and wellbeing, the digital academy, reward and recognition and work supporting the development of a national standard for attendance times.
I am keen to develop and strengthen ways in which the national portfolio can support response officers. To this end. I invite you to join me in this week’s
#WeCops event on Wednesday….
