Ruth 7 years had her life revolved around the struggle to access safe water. She suffered from stomach problems and carried water for long distances that left her tired and sick, she missed school.
But everything changed when we dug and drilled a bore hole for her community.😀🇺🇬

2021 started with a donation of a lifestraw community water filter from Laura. This filter serves upto 100 children everyday with safe & clean water for upto 5 years filtering 100,000 LITERS (26,000 gallons). Thank you to @LauraWintherHansen A positive way to encourage others🙏.

It was great to also reconnect with Scouter Neil (we were Cubs together); and Scouter Hugh (we were Leaders together). Scouting forms friendships that last for a lifetime!
