One thing I didn’t mention—It’s not about perfect reads or numbers, it’s the caddie’s behavior that ruins a round. Getting high, being disrespectful, careless—that’s the problem. Missing a 40-footer on a bad read isn’t.

Gonna start quoting on this to prove my point. Looped at a Member Guest today (high end club) and the other caddie asked me to take the pin even though his guys were finishing last. No worries, I’ll take it. Why did he need me to? So he could walk away and smoke weed🤦♂️

I cannot stand the entitlement of caddies in this day and age. If these clubs didn’t require caddies for guests, the chance I would take one is second to none.
Ironically enough, I have found the best caddie experiences at clubs that are more under the radar.

I’m not sure if this is just me, but the caddie scene needs to get under control. It frustrates me knowing I was graciously hosted at a prestigious club only to have my experience ruined by a caddie.
