Wave OCE is excited to be hosting this year's VALORANT Tournament for SMASH! 2026.
Get ready for a weekend of 5v5 Valorant Swiftplay! We're celebrating the fast-paced, action-packed rounds we all love with a two-day community event. Catch the plays across multiple skill levels during Saturday's Open Tournament, or grab your friends for some good vibes and lots of laughs in Sunday's Amateur Event. Whether you're bringing precise gunplay or just looking to make new friends and have a good time, there's a team waiting for you!

Competitive Ruling - Squishy Cheeks
During their match against Bonkers on the April 27, 2026, Wave OCE has found that Squishy Cheeks has breached the Wave OCE Tournament Rulebook Section 2, Code of Conduct.
After assessing the timeline of events and taking into consideration previous warnings, Squishy Cheeks has been disqualified from Wave OCE Rising Tides Split 1.

For context his account was FULLY LOCKED. If he was able to open the game he would still be able to play. Maybe use your brain for a second and realize that if Riot fully locked your account you've clearly messed up and it's an obvious decision for a TO to not let you play.

🇦🇺🇳🇿 Challengers OCE has been removed for 2026, according to the VCT season overview graphic released today.
The Path to Champions remains the same. The following teams will qualify for the 2026 VCT Pacific Stage 2 Playoffs:
• #1 team from Challengers SEA
• #1 team from Challengers Japan
• #1 team from Challengers Korea
• #1 team from the Challengers LCQ
The Challengers Pacific LCQ will feature:
• #1 team from Challengers South Asia
• #1 team from Oceania
• #2 and #3 of Challengers SEA

From what we were able to bring to the table, I strongly believe that not only did we surpass the standard presented in OCE previously, but set a new one for future reference.
Shame 2026 got yeeted, but @Wave_OCE has plans to get something together for the community :)

We had a lot of potential and we did strive to push the boundaries, even introducing a vertical POV for our viewers
OCE has a lot to offer, and despite their being no official split in 2026, I hope it will continue to do so through the community.

Not going to lie, 2025 has been a turbulent year for many of us, myself included.
Now that we're at the tail end, its important to not only strive to improve from where you fell short this year, but also acknowledge the amount of cool ass shit you did as well.
