INCIDENT UPDATE: 3.45pm - crews have made good progress and incident has been scaled down to 2 pumps. Merseyside Police have reopened Hawthorne Rd and it is no longer necessary to keep doors & windows shut.

TRAINING EXERCISE: Maritime Museum, Albert Dock, Liverpool- A training exercise with 5 fire engines at the Museum is currently under way. You will see fire engines, firefighters and some artificial smoke as we train for firefighting, rescue and evacuation bit.ly/4cFeHEH
The exercise, the second this week, continues for approx 1.5 hrs. Hartley’s Quay is cordoned off to vehicles during the exercise but pedestrian traffic will still be allowed. Thanks to National Museums Liverpool for another opportunity to train at this unique location.
