Recycling is great, but it’s not the only way to reduce the waste we produce. 💚🌍 Buying what you need, swapping the way we shop, reusing what we have and passing on the rest are all better ways of dealing with waste than just chucking it in the bin! #ReduceReuseRecycle #BuyNothingNew

Visiting a Recycling Centre? They may be busy so Save Time, Sort at Home. Try and group your items together in materials (cardboard, wood, plastics etc.) when you pack your car, that way you won't have the hassle of sorting them out when you get there. Thank you!

Live in Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton or Wirral? Please keep bagged waste out of the household recycling bin. Even if the bag contains recyclable items, it cannot be separated at the recycling facility meaning it has to be removed and disposed of. Thank you 🙏

Batteries are the leading cause of fires in bins. Next time you have batteries to get rid of, stop and think because you could be putting real people in danger when your bin is collected. Instead recycle them safely at a Recycling Centre or large shop. #RecycleYourElectricals
