Sad he’s gone, but it leaves a sour taste. Second time now he’s jumped ship at the first opportunity, with Burton being the first, albeit failed one.
On field I feel we won’t lose anything with him gone, but the dressing room and culture he’s created will be a huge loss.

Play like we did yesterday and we have every chance in the playoffs. York are by far the best team in the league and we matched them for 95 minutes. Just need to get the fans and players fired up for it and we can still go up. Crede signo. #RAFC

One last thing about yesterday - regardless of whether it was in or not, fuck VAR and never add it. I’d still prefer decisions to potentially be wrong than for VAR to be involved at any level. Keep it with the tourists and fake football in the prem. Goal line tech tho - add it.

So fucking angry. If we lose but play well then hats off to York. But to lose like that, where it’s down only to the ref/lino to decide our season, and get it fucking wrong… honestly heartbreaking. Will take something special for the players and fans to be up for playoffs #RAFC
