Can’t help but get emotional returning to the role of Sophie @MetOpera in just a few days! My Rosenkavalier journey began at the Met in 2013 when I jumped in last-minute for the final run of Merrill’s production. All of Sophie’s emotions were my own during that run! 🌹

Last week, @MetOrchestra principal trumpet David Krauss had what he called a “surreal” moment while performing Verdi’s La Traviata, joined by his son Noah (left) in the pit subbing on cello while his son Eli (right) was ushering in the opera house.
