The dead rat wasn’t random it was Alamo’s message: “your rat is dead.” After Maddy revealed Rue was working with the DEA, Alamo knew she was a snitch.The craziest part? Maddy is one of the most street-smart people on the show. She should’ve known that calling someone a rat around dangerous people is basically a death sentence.
