Took what made 1 great and made it better in every way possible. Over 108 recruitable characters (some optional), expanding base castle, three battle formats and the option to transfer over your data from the first for added bonuses. It's one of the best.

7. Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete
Probably one of the most light rpgs I've ever experienced in terms of aesthetics and overall mood it creates. It has great anime cutscenes, absolutely incredible music and a grid-influenced turn-based combat system.
