A trip down memory lane...
This is "Another."
This film was made with early Comfy, Stable Diffusion, Warp Fusion, Deforum and early Runway Gen 1 and 2.
Probably one of the first hybrid AI Live Action films ever made. I was in production in the summer of 2023. Most of my industry filmmaker friends were more open and curious on how AI could be infused. It wasn't mainstream, and most people didn't even understand how AI could be used in film production. Just new tools that could help small teams produce their vision.
I have always been resourceful, and when I discovered the possibilities of these tools, I was instantly hooked.
The R&D we all have done over the years is proving fruitful and AI is finally ready for primetime.
Pretty soon we will be back to focusing on just stories. The tools will fade away, and all that will remain is you and your vision.
So here is a remastered 4K version of a time capsuled look at a time where filmmakers could just cook without people worrying about how something was made.

Excited to share that I partnered with Google to create Character X-Ray, a custom tool for Flow Tools ⚒️
As a writer, I wanted to help creators make more intentional choices when developing characters.
Character X-Ray analyzes a character’s wardrobe and appearance against their psychology and backstory, then flags inconsistencies and suggests ways to make the character feel more cohesive and believable.

This is the future of storytelling.
Not in some distant way… but like right now.
I made this using AI. It’s called PAPERCUT.
A new animated film concept I'm developing. It's not perfect, but it gets the creative juices flowing.
The idea came from my son. We were just talking and he said he wished there was a movie about a Blasian kid surviving a zombie apocalypse.
And it hit me… that movie doesn’t exist.
Not because it’s not a good idea, but because it would probably never get made. So I made it.
And once I started, I couldn’t stop thinking about it.
Like where did all the great zombie movies go?
The ones that felt original, that had personality. The Shaun of the Deads, the George Romero classics.
What if you took that energy… but made it animated?
Stylized. A little fun. A little scary.
Something a kid could watch, but still feel the danger. That’s what this is.
Honestly… this doesn’t happen without AI.
This idea just stays a conversation. But now it’s real. That’s the shift.
You don’t have to wait around anymore hoping someone says yes.
You can just go make the thing.
