Audio restored at Audio Mechanics laboratory, from the 35mm magnetic sound 6-track master used to create a new 5.1 mix. The hospital shootout in Hard Boiled (1992) is peak John Woo. Doves flying through hallways, bullets everywhere, Chow Yun-fat sliding into rooms with dual pistols like the laws of physics stopped applying. Action cinema at its most gloriously excessive.
