Famous grizzly bear, 399, was fatally struck by a vehicle in Snake River Canyon, south of Jackson, WY on Oct. 22, 2024. The bear's identity was confirmed through ear tags & a microchip. We are working with state & local agencies to gather more information. fws.gov/press-release/2024-1…

Holly's results showed that although risk perceptions of woody encroachment were high, they were not associated with more Rx fire. Info deficit debunked again!
