⚡️BREAKING: The U.S. has released the Official text of the MoU reached with Iran
1. Immediate, permanent ceasefire between the U.S., Iran, and their allies on all fronts, including Lebanon.
2. Mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity, with no interference in each other’s internal affairs.
3. Final agreement to be reached within 60 days, extendable by mutual consent.
4. U.S. to lift the naval blockade immediately and fully within 30 days; Iran will gradually restore shipping. The U.S. will also withdraw nearby forces within 30 days of the final agreement.
5. Iran to ensure free and safe commercial navigation between the Persian Gulf and Sea of Oman for 60 days, with full traffic restored within 30 days after mine clearance and obstacle removal.
6. Iran and Oman to discuss the future governance and maritime arrangements of the Strait of Hormuz, in consultation with regional states and under international law.
7. U.S. and regional partners to establish a $300 billion economic development plan for Iran, with implementation details agreed within 60 days and all necessary licenses issued.
8. All sanctions on Iran to be lifted under an agreed timetable, including UN, IAEA, primary, and secondary U.S. sanctions, with sanctions relief a priority topic in negotiations.
9. Iran reaffirms it will not develop nuclear weapons. Enriched uranium stockpiles will be addressed through a mutually agreed mechanism, at minimum involving on-site dilution under IAEA supervision. Future enrichment and nuclear needs will be settled in the final agreement.
10. Status quo maintained until a final deal: Iran freezes its current nuclear posture, while the U.S. imposes no new sanctions and deploys no additional regional forces.
11. Immediate U.S. sanctions waivers for Iranian oil, petroleum products, derivatives, and all related banking, insurance, shipping, and commercial services.
12. Frozen Iranian assets to become accessible under agreed procedures, with full use authorized by Iran’s central bank and supported by all required U.S. licenses and permits.
13. A joint implementation and monitoring mechanism will oversee compliance with the MOU and any future final agreement.
14. Negotiations on the final agreement will proceed once key provisions are being implemented, and the final deal will be endorsed through a binding UN Security Council resolution.
