Last night a dog was rescued from the side of the road in Dearborn found crammed into a small dog crate along with dishes & toys. Abandonment of a pet is a misdemeanor. The police are investigating the crime. FAMD is offering a $500 reward for info that leads to arrest/conviction

After a brave, animal loving frontline nurse died after caring for COVID positive patients, FAMD took in her two cats that were left behind. Today they were adopted together where they can continue her legacy of love. @somegoodnews @johnkrasinski

FAMD encourages all pet owners to have a #COVID19 emergency preparedness plan. Identify at least 3 people who can care for your pet. Unless you are hospitalized and live alone, keep your pets with you. You can go on walks, but keep 6 feet from other people and pets.
