Dr. Metz has helped strengthen the department’s research enterprise while advancing care for women and families across our region. I’m grateful she’s willing to take on this leadership responsibility and look forward to working with her in this new role.

In our Article of the Week, we highlight Danish study published in JAMA Pediatrics that found no significant associations between prenatal #acetaminophen exposure and the risk of #autism in offspring.
The topic has been particularly highlighted in the United States, where, in 2025, federal government agencies expressed concerns about associations between acetaminophen use during #pregnancy.
