Pleased to share that Dr. Torri Metz has been named co-chair of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine @UofUMedicine, serving alongside Dr. Robert Silver. Dr. Metz has helped strengthen the department’s research enterprise while advancing care for women and families across our region. In our Article of the Week, we highlight Danish study published in JAMA Pediatrics that found no significant associations between prenatal #acetaminophen exposure and the risk of #autism in offspring. The topic has been particularly highlighted in the United States, where, in 2025, federal government agencies expressed concerns about associations between acetaminophen use during #pregnancy.
