Absolute stars! π€©βοΈ
When moral was getting a little low & we were getting quite tired the perfect pick me up presented itself at the exact right time on Saturday. The kids at @RightsCommunity absolutely smashed it & were @Tom_Stocks highlight of the festival

Broken lifts meant our words blossomed in the garden
Because of the broken lift it meant we changed our plans slightly, so instead of the engine room we performed in the beautiful @spinnersmillleigh community garden instead & it was an absolutely stunning way to end our festival

Well we did it, we survived the festival! 30 stall holders, 10 stages/ events across 4 floors, 1 broken lift & 2 exhausted organisers in Tom & Carla.

I was so busy lugging amps, mics, chairs, people around I actually barely saw any poetry or took any pictures, but the feedback has been overwhelming & I've stolen some of our wonderful participants pictures to give you a taste of the wonderful day we had.

We had hiccups but it really was a special day, can't believe we actually pulled off something that big on the resources we had. Thats all down to the kindness & hard work of the community at the Mill, who helped so much on the lead up & on the day. So thank you to the team

I worked out we must have had over 300 people pass through the mill today for the festival in participaants, performers & audience members combined. Some audiences poured out onto the corridor as we couldn't fit everyone in 1 venue.
