At night in Ukraine, you cannot see much, but every explosion is heard and felt. If you are spending the night not underground, but in a house - especially in a high-rise building - you feel it with your entire body and every sense. The vibration and shaking of the floor, walls, and ceiling are transmitted directly to you, multiplying your anxiety.
The world has grown accustomed to watching what is happening in my country, but your body and mind refuse to get used to it when you are directly in the zone of shelling. There are no coincidences in my country, in Ukraine. If something happens here, it is russia’s fault; it is the direct will of the citizens of russia and their leader. They want our life in our own country to be unbearable, especially at night. Yet, year after year, they receive retaliation in return. Yes, their losses cannot compare to ours: what is one factory or oil depot in russia worth compared to the human lives they take every single minute… Whether it is on the battlefield or after every massive shelling of Ukrainian cities... And yes, today, innocent civilians - Ukrainians, have died once again.
