Hard to put into words what Zed means to the game of lacrosse but to also me personally.
What he taught me:
- life is bigger than sports / work, it’s about family and community
- leave it all on the field
- honor your father
- forgive
- swallow your ego
- compete within the lines with all you’ve got
I’ll miss him but know that he’ll be back with us one day in some capacity

smart! optic yellow has been a great choice for us. A big complaint we saw from casual TV lacrosse viewers is that “they can’t see the ball” and they stop watching. if we all truly want growth, small but meaningful adjustments like this are a no brainer.
NEWS: @NCAALAX proposed this week expanding video review in men's lacrosse and changing the game ball color to fluorescent green or yellow.
Coaches could challenge to negate a goal for:
-Offsides
-Too many players
-Whether a player in possession stepped on a boundary line
