I just filed a lawsuit to extend voting hours by one hour to 9:00 p.m. in Burlington County, and to make paper ballots available to voters in that county. We will continue to fight to ensure that all voters can participate in this election.

Everyone who has reached out with supportive words today - and thank you for that, it’s much appreciated - should keep Patrick in mind for any openings. He’s top-notch, as a person and a professional.
NJ has certified its 2022 election results. Turnout was 41.1% of registered voters, compared with 55.2% in the 2018 midterm. Though for some reason, the Hudson ballots cast are listed as 11,460 below what the county reported.

Data from NJ Division of Elections shows 213,882 people voted at early in-person polling places for the general election. Yesterday had most w/ 35,207 ballots. Here's a congressional district breakdown, with voters (not votes) by Democrats, Republicans and unaffiliated/3rd party.
In addition, so far NJ counties have reported receiving 511,676 vote-by-mail ballots through Sunday. These can be returned in drop boxes thru 8 pm Tuesday - and if they're postmarked by tomorrow, they count if they arrive through the mail by next Monday.
Combined, that comes to over 725,000 general election votes in NJ already. Usually CD1 is the clear leader in early voting due to the Dems' robust vote-by-mail program, but early in-person voting has changed some of the pattern - with nearly as many in CD7.
Also, another Assembly committee hearing to consider additional amendments to the gun bill is scheduled for Monday. Registration deadline to testify listed as 6 pm today. njleg.state.nj.us/live-proce…
