Just when I think the #GreatOrme #Llandudno couldn't possibly get any prettier, it showcases beautiful scenes of sunlit glitter-kissed seas. #NorthWales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🤩

Was in Cardiff for work the past couple of days and went for a walk in Bute Park. It has the most fabulous trees, such as this lovely ‘handkerchief’ or ‘dove’ tree, so called because the white flower bracts fluttering in the breeze look like handkerchiefs or doves💚🤍

It’s a bit grey outside today so here’s a vibrant flower to add a bit of colour. Hope you have a lovely weekend 🧡💛

Today got a little bit bumpy for me so I have taken myself off to my studio to go and find the joy again. Glazing this piece has returned the calm and reminded me of the walk I was on when I collected these wild flowers. I pressed them into the clay to make this bowl. Not all days breeze by but as long as you can find the happy again then it’s ok.

A lovely new patch of arable wild flowers, growing on a Hampshire roadside, thanks to some recent roadworks - a wonderful and beautiful impromptu ‘meadow’. See ALT text for more detail. #wildflowers

“Those be rubies, fairy favours; In those freckles live their savours” The five spots marking each petal of the cowslip, Primula veris, are “fairy rubies”, gifts, or favours, bestowed upon the flowers by the fae. Cowslips were once thought a favourite hiding place of fairy folk.

Robins are just too adorable! This one was singing his heart out as I walked past yesterday, then followed me along the path… and of course, I’d forgotten the mealworms 😱 Happy Tuesday 🧡

Morning all, it was another epic day in the Norfolk countryside yesterday. There was activity everywhere and lots of calling / flying back and forth overhead. Here are 4 of my better ones from the day and as you can see it was another beauty of a day weatherwise too!

The leaves of Red Valerian look quite architectural with their strong forms. Handy for capturing raindrops too. The flowers are a magnet for bees, butterflies and moths like the fabulous Hummingbird hawk-moth. #WildflowerHour

The Sea Rocket flowers are starting to bloom along the shoreline. It’s lovely to see them again, with their delicate shades of white and lilac. #WildflowerHour
