Pastors, I am *begging* y'all, in the same way you would not use the word "gay" to mean "happy and cheerful" because of the current connotation of that word, please stop using the terms... "formation" and "spiritual formation" ...to mean "normal, biblical discipleship/Bible study." There is currently a popular false doctrine out there called "Spiritual Formation". In a nutshell, it's mysticism and contemplative spirituality mainly from Richard Foster and Dallas Willard. It's not something you want your church members or potential church members to be confused about. This is Spiritual Formation: awordfitlyspoken.life/podcas… Share this around to help make others aware.

There's nothing more effeminate than professing Christian men who blame women for everything bad that happens in the world in general.

The issue of the books at the conference aside, I am *biblically* grieved and angered that this is the way these hyper-patriarchy guys are constantly framing things: Anything bad or sinful, or anything they don't like is "feminine" or the fault of women (or "gay"). Try being a woman -even a godly woman, since it feels like they make no distinction between pagan women and actual sisters in Christ- and constantly hearing that everything associated with women is bad, or to blame for bad things happening. They are despising half of the image bearers on the planet. This is an ungodly and sinful attitude of heart. It is a slap in the face to Galatians 3. I hate feminism as much or more than these guys do, because I see, up close and personal every day the damage it does to women and the men in their lives, but this woman-hating, woman-blaming, feminine=gay, posture they hold is an unbiblical overcorrection against feminism. I would encourage any professing Christian man (or woman) with this general demeanor to humble himself, repent, and learn to view men and women as God views us. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28

There was apparently some big dust up in my neighborhood this morning over a lawn service that started mowing (and waking people up) too early, and I would just like to say that if they had all been getting ready for church at that time, this whole situation could have been avoided. Go to church. Save the neighborhood.😀

I wasn't aiming to recreate the dust up on this thread. I have been the person annoyed by mowers waking me early. I have also been the wife of a man who owned a lawn service who didn't want him dropping dead in the peak heat/humidity of the day. I'm not taking sides. I'm siding with church.😀⛪️

Of course men and women handle conflict different ways. That is the GOOD way God created BOTH sexes. Different. Not masculinity = good, femininity = bad. The issue here is that when *anybody* handles conflict -or anything else- in a BAD way, these guys always label it as "feminine". That reinforces the ungodly idea that women are bad, men are good. The *biblical* way to frame things is NOT: If anyone does anything bad, thats "womanly" or "feminine". The *biblical* way to frame things is: If anyone does anything bad, that's "sinful" or "ungodly" or "disordered" or "He handled that badly," or "He should have handled that better, or in a more godly way." There is no reason to bring women into something that has nothing to do with women and use womanhood an an insult, as though womanhood ITSELF is inherently bad. And whether they intend that to be the effect or not, that's the effect of using womanhood as an insult.

If you're a hyper-patriarchy guy who has come here to insult me or "SILENCE WOMAN!" me, there's no need to go to those lengths to indicate your desire to be blocked. You can either block me yourself, or simply request, "Block me," and I'll be happy to do so. No need to add more sin and stupidity to the world.

If NCP just says that they didn't vet their vendors well and it was a mistake that won't happen again to allow a vendor to promote pornography and Nazism, a lot of people would calm down about this whole situation. Instead, so far I've only seen mockery of those criticizing it.

This passage is so comforting to me. I have one sibling -my sister- who is averse to Christianity. My husband's siblings don't know Christ, either. And all of them live far away. We feel like orphans, sometimes. When we see bio brothers and sisters who are also brothers and sisters in Christ, we can almost be tempted to covet what they have. (Thank God for that, if you have it!♥️) But I always come back to this passage. We've left our siblings for the gospel, but God gives us a hundredfold *now, in the present age* - our brothers and sisters in Christ. Every time I walk into my church, I've come home to my family. ♥️⛪️♥️

My prayers are with this mother and her baby, now fighting for life. This terrible case shows the dangers of mifepristone and its illegal, irresponsible, and unchecked distribution in our state. We’ve challenged the Biden administration’s reckless expansion of dangerous mail-order abortion drugs with no oversight at all from a doctor. This isn’t healthcare—it’s criminal battery and attempted murder. Anyone who secretly gives abortion drugs to a woman without her knowledge will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. kadn.com/news/crime/carencro…

Some quick notes about Antelope Hill Publishing and this flyer at the New Christendom Press conference. Many of the businesses listed here being promoted by AHP, which is a secular book publish house, are disgusting and trash. A few that stand out:
