It's weird how we say "Brain pod berries and root phallus" but in Mexico they say "Root phallus and brain pod berries."

The USA has been producing billionaires for over 110 years. Rockefeller was the first and the communists went after him with the same misguided arguments. They failed in their efforts and as a result, the USA has produced thousands of billionaires and lifted more people out of poverty than communism has ever managed.

few know this, but the poor actually had access to rockets and electric cars for free until Elon Musk decided to hoard them all for himself

It amazes me how many people actually believe Elon Musk has. Trillion dollars liquid asset. No grasp on stocks or property value. They just think he has a trillion sitting a vault somewhere.

If you took $1 Trillion from Elon (assuming it was cash), it would run the U.S. government for 49 days. Not even 2 months. The U.S. doesn't have a billionaire/trillionaire problem, it has a spending problem.

No, your employer is not “stealing” your labor. You entered into a voluntary agreement where money is given to you for your work and in turn you spend it on things you like. Government takes your money and spends it on things you don’t like. Who’s stealing from you again?

SpaceX is a beautiful madness. But when a company lives off government subsidies, and its valuation assumes it will control the entire space economy, while you still have no real revenue… this is not investing. This is gambling in the name of the future.

Begin by doubling the criminal penalties for federal fraud. Repeat each year until the problem goes away.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 Washington found its counter to Iran's $24 billion demand: spend the frozen money on the countries Iran keeps hitting Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has ordered officials to tally the damage Gulf partners have suffered from Iranian attacks and price out repair and recovery costs, as the administration weighs using frozen Iranian assets to compensate for past and future damage linked to Tehran. Think through what that does. Iran says the entire deal hinges on getting its $24 billion back. Treasury's answer is to start metering that pot out to Kuwait and Bahrain, so every missile Tehran fires at its neighbors now drains its own recoverable fortune. The airport terminal, the casualties, the repairs, it all gets billed to Iran's account. Source: Reuters

The latest from the L.A. County vote processing center… @nithyavraman cut into @spencerpratt’s lead by about 3,000 votes today but still trails him by about 37,000 votes for 2nd place. It could take 3 weeks to know the outcome.

"... near a decade low" in April. 🥱
The quits rate — which shows how confident workers feel about the labor market — fell to 1.9% in April, near a decade low. Worker bargaining power is down, and many feel stuck.
