Did you miss the Star Atlas Town Hall last week? Amongst the other game development releases, there were a number of z.ink updates as well. 1. A demo Claims and Vesting portal was released where you can view a test snapshot of your O.rigin airdrop season allocation at z.ink/claims 2. Highly anticipated documentation release. If you're interested in being a validator or building on the SVM, you can quickly get up to speed at docs.z.ink 3. We also released a testnet bridge, currently bridging between AtlasNet and z.ink testnet. On genesis, this will switch over to a Solana x z.ink bridge. You can demo it at bridge.z.ink Mainnet approaches, but there's still time to join the O.rigin airdrop campaign with 10% of the token supply being distributed on mainnet launch.

Quick Update: Foundation: 1. We have shipped multiplayer in the open world. This is a significant and foundational milestone. Concurrent server size, performance and functionality will only improve from here. 2. We are aiming to ship Backpack and the full inventory system late next week. 3. It will be roughly 30-45 days before the 'main onchain loop' is online. I don't think the game is interesting or can be successful until we hit this point. After this point however, retention should improve significantly. 4. Once 1-3 is done: a) enemy agents will randomly drop WILD and Shards that can be materialized for useful in-game items, b) Storage Centers, Banks, and Neural Stations will come online, and c) WILD payments will turn on in-game, becoming an integral part of every session. 5. After this, we will open up the remaining neighborhoods in the island, including enterable storefronts, expanding the size of the current map by nearly 10x. 6. As part of these releases we will continue to ship many quality of life improvements, such as bug fixes, performance fixes, small features, and community feedback items. After this is complete we will have a solid base to build the Metaverse upon. Not from a theoretical sense, but a practical one. All game modes we have been working on will be integrated into one massive open world. Most core systems working with a live 247 product that will continue to iteratively improve. From here we will start: a) driving player growth again, b) activate our public dashboard, and c) begin burning WILD daily. Token: This will supercharge the $WILD token on multiple fronts. It will be used heavily within the game increasing daily transaction volume, packs sales will increase, and daily burns will begin. The system has been designed such that more WILD must come in than exits the system, based on the learnings from many live experiments run over the years. In addition, all major previous obligations regarding rewards (Tournament, MMED, etc.) have been paid out. Obligations in WILD moving forward are roughly $100 - $150K per month in WILD related contractor expenses. We think this is relatively minimal and buy pressure can greatly exceed this. AI: AI has become an integral part of our strategy and will continue to be moving forward. We have made major progress on AURA and many Wilders are now using it daily to build their own metaverse brands, assets, and systems. Wilders are also beginning to create their own autonomous Agents for many different use-cases. These Agents have an embedded EVM wallet that will be revealed soon. In the second half of this year, we anticipate thousands of agents that will come into Wilder World, designed by our community, and who fulfill different functions. They can operate as simple conversational NPCs with backstories, to enemy agents, to those who fulfill specific roles within Wiami (think shopkeepers, police officers, wuber drivers, mine resources, etc.). Escape Velocity: Building open world games are difficult. Building anything in crypto is also hard. Building AI systems in a sustainable way that does not produce slop is similarly hard. We are attempting to do many hard things at once. The good news is that it is 100% inevitable that these things will be achieved. In fact, the list of things that need to happen now are less daunting than the list when we set out. There is a mountain of work behind us that has yet to be realized or materialized. I believe that once the foundation is built (Multiplayer, Economy, Gameplay, Island) as well as AI is fully integrated into Wilder World (Agents Asset Generation) we will enter a new era of prosperity and growth. Quick Update: 1. Multiplayer: We are getting ready to roll out multiplayer later this week or early next. The team is in the final stages of preparation. It makes Wilder World significantly more fun, finally integrating a lot of the great mechanics and learning from the FPS and Racing game into one cohesive open world. It is a major step function change and almost here! 2. Combat: We are continuing to make changes and improvements to our breach mission system that will make the experience more dynamic. As you will have seen from some of the recent imagery shared, we are making the gameplay within the city a lot more active and intense to enhance fun. Essentially The Forum has attacked the city and is invading. Your mission is to protect Wiami. We are working on integrating the concept of controlled territories around the city, which will enable different groups to protect or take back the city. It's the first gameplay mode that I think is genuinely novel and connects everything together in a way that feels right. 3. Backpack: Within 1-2 weeks we will release Backpack, which allows you to equip certain items while you are on missions with your tribe. There is a limited storage capacity, which enables you to make strategic decisions that influence your experience. Shortly after we will add stash and storage sites for deeper / longer-term inventory management. 4. Economy: Scrap and Shards will launch soon, which are onchain items you can trade or use to materialize items in-game. You will also be able to grind for WILD, and we have developed several strategies that prevent bots, etc. 5. Expansion: We are also working on expanding into new neighborhoods, including major environment updates, and new systems like stealing vehicles, police, etc. within the city. -- You can see there has also been tremendous progress on AURA and we are starting to use it to speed up development across the projects. We are currently doing 5-10 releases per day. Anyone using that product knows its rate of improvement is almost unlike anything they've experienced. AURA is turning into an AI hub that will allow you to create and manage agents, as well as build and tokenize 3D assets. As the technology improves, the idea is that these assets are able to be brought into game. Soon you will be able to design and create your own characters / agents, etc., and then to unleash them in the world. We are very excited about this and think it has a lot of potential to merge AI, gaming and crypto in a new and interesting way. ๐Ÿค

I love it when a plan comes together. Star Atlas is the world. @ZinkSVM is the agent execution layer. Together, they create the first crypto-native environment where AI agents can safely act as economic participants. That is much stronger than โ€œAI in a game.โ€ The stack: Star Atlas = persistent economy Ships, land, fleets, resources, markets, factions, governance, player labor., AI agents = operators Fleet managers, market makers, faction coordinators, onboarding copilots, autonomous NPC/org actors, creator/business agents., z.ink / zProfile = permissioned execution, Agents need to act without holding private keys or asking for 500 signatures. zProfile lets users delegate bounded authority: asset limits, spending caps, actions, revocation, identity/reputation. The investment thesis Cryptoโ€™s killer AI use case is not โ€œchatbots with tokens.โ€ It is permissioned autonomous economic activity.
