If your gun is accidentally disharged into the floor of your 2nd-floor apartment...there is a chance it can hit a water pipe and flood the apartment below. Hope you have renter's insurance!

I had a thought today...if "Free Education" would pass one day - I think I would want to try and go to a trade school and learn welding. Which brings me to my next thought (semi-political)...

However, trade schools, I could get behind! This led me down a rabbit hole of thinking about how we should also redesign the entire college system - general education credits, not any more! I've always disliked Gen Ed credits, but since I'm on a rant...

Hello, I'm a CSI in a movie/TV. I can lift a fingerprint off of anything and everything. I find DNA everywhere and anywhere, even from thin air. Search warrants? - who needs those? Not me. 1-2 hours later - case solved.

Also, as I was driving back home a couple days ago - a pursuit drove by me on the interstate. I thought two things - 1) I could help out [I didn't - not my jurisdiction and I would have caused more problems] and 2) a chase on the interstate is a bad idea on the criminal's part.

To give you a glimpse of the past few weeks...it's been busy! A couple murder cases, many assault and burglaries, and had an incident where a suspect came back to the scene & climbed in the back of the car (on purpose) - perhaps unaware of my job, but needless to say, #caught.

I was watching the new cop show, "The Rookie" (Nathan Fillion fan) - in the episode Fillion's character (a rookie) gets involved in a fatal OIS - good shoot all around, bad guy pointed a gun at him.
I felt like they treated him really wrong in the investigation.

Took his badge & gun even. I don't know how all agency's investigate it, but I felt like it should have been a relatively shut and closed case. I know, "TV drama" and all - but still, that grinded my gears a little bit.

Don’t let the bad guys take your car while it is warming up. Be like Officer Leo and sit in your auto while it defrost. We r seeing 2 many cars stolen while warming up. Keep your car safe.

I drive home when people are on their way to work. It astounds me seeing the number of cars with the drivers-half of the windshield scraped off from the frost. I'd pull you over in a second...but I'm on my way home, so good luck to you.

PSA time...if you ever plan to get stabbed, dont run really far leaving a blood trail, that just makes a long day for me. Instead, run a little way then stay there.
If you are being chased, run away, but apply pressure as to not bleed anymore.
