This custom AR-45 is a seriously sweet build… if it actually worked. Right now, it’s giving us some problems, so our mission is to track down the issues and get it running before our trip to the range this week.

MkIV short boy has entered the building... For years, if you wanted to suppress your .22 pistol, that meant adding to your overall length unless you sent it in to a gunsmith to be cut, turned down, and threaded to accept a suppressor. What you ended up with was unique, but it took time and added expense. @silencerco and @rugersofficial partnered on this new MkIV model to make that same form and function available from the factory. The new 3” MkIV partnered with the @gsltechnology FLEA has an OAL of 6”. Think about that for a moment, a MkIV with a suppressor that is marginally longer than a standard bull barrel model.  This setup would be a perfect companion for a hunter/trapper needing to dispatch game, or the avid firearms enthusiast inspired by the integrally suppressed .22 setups of MACV-SOG in Vietnam.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country, from the earliest days of the Revolutionary War to those lost in modern conflicts.
