Thread: Gaethje's evolution has seen him develop into a monstrous counter fighter. Pre-Alvarez/Poirier 1 Gaethje was an elite pressure fighter, but he couldn't reach the top of the sport with it. The Holloway fight was a decisive loss but Gaethje had successes in it.

That was a cool clinch fight too.
Fiziev was good in control positions early when he could get an overhook or underhook, but in the second round Gaethje started finding his collar ties in transition and then started to take over late when Fiziev was tired and just holding more.
