I have a habit of picking a movie each year (Cold War, Three Thousand Years Of Longing, Annette) and championing it as my best of the year pick. This year's film is Past Lives. Gorgeous, soulful and devastating bit of cinema.

Caught The Equalizer 3 this morning, pleased to report that Denzel's Italian holiday is a great time, a good improvement on first two. Some really nasty violence and stunning locales make this the best episode of A Place In The Sun ever
