The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.

past 18 months have been sort of insane for Meta and my suspicion is leadership either hasnt tapped into how destabilizing some of these changes have been for rank and file, OR are just trying to push through what is going to be an unavoidable rocky period

i will say the mark memo hints at a level of existentialism that he/meta seems to be reckoning with which i think will just be fundamentally out of sync with where rank and file come from
