Had a great exchange with a Dragonlance fan artist in Russia who's been using my character designs as a reference point for her own work. She pointed me toward a whole world I didn't know about — bands writing concept albums about Raistlin, even a live theatrical adaptation of the Legends trilogy. Dragonlance fandom runs deep all over the world, and it's humbling to find my interpretations are part of that conversation.

For my Canadian followers, just found out about this Shaw WW1 painting which is really rather wonderful. The Canadian commission was very strong in its selection, some great works made.

Back in 2013 I painted this Predator movie poster as a personal project. Then I thought — what if this had been a real Atari game? So, I designed a faux cartridge label, then a full package design complete with fake screenshots and back cover copy. I even went so far as to re label and old Atari cartridge my buddy owen gave me. I would display it at con's and I got a kick out of hearing guys confusion about not remembering a Predator game on the Atari 2600. Painted this Lancaster ground crew portrait in 2012 — a private commission for the Sweetland family in Calgary, where it still hangs today. One of a series of Canadian military history pieces I've worked on over the years. Some of these paintings are heading to a permanent home soon. More on that shortly.
