Today is not just a "photo stop" but rather a 5K walk with Curtis M on my mind. A big crowd and plenty of folks warming up before the walk.
More than 5 years ago I began a journey to become a living donor. While I was not a successful donor candidate for Curtis, the journey and the knowing Curtis was able to get a viable kidney, lives with me today. #Kidneydisease #Kidneyhealth #Kidneywalk

I have said it many times, transparency is the key to ensuring that confidence in public safety remains job 1! Holding a last minute meeting so the Board Chair can't attend it and expecting an inexperienced board to make a career ending informed decision is "Irresponsibly 101".

STARCHUK TO MAYOR LOCKE: This is your Police Board, and your wrecking ball that still swings over the Surrey Police Transition. And now you've fired Chief Lipinski via board-packing and political interference. The meeting was called without notice to the Surrey Police Board Chair, who was not in attendance and who has resigned as the SPB Chair and states "I feel the political tentacles and pressures have reached far too deeply into our newly formed SPS board, and I morally and ethically cannot be part of this moving forward."

I don’t recall how many years I make a 2nd Remembrance Day visit to Surrey Centre Cemetery, but each time I come to place my last poppy on the headstone of one of the 100’s of soldiers who lay in rest here, I am afforded the tranquility to reflect on their commitments.

At Mon nights council meeting, we heard “what I did this summer” from @SurreyMayor - cut ribbons, hired new MGMT, ugly potato’s etc. Zero mention of 100’s of jobs lost when she terminated the Fraser Downs race season with out notice or explanation to @HRBC4 #whatsthehurrysurrey
