The Wolves are going to the Calder Cup Finals! Trailing 3-2 in the series, they went back to Colorado and took both on the road. An incredibly resilient effort, which included losing their top scorer Felix Unger Sorum and number one goalie in Cayden Primeau along the way. Noah Philp and Ryan Suzuki both had a goal and an assist tonight. Amir Miftakhov goes 39/42 in net. They’ll face the Toronto Marlies.

Forever, I’ve said the loudest sports arena I’ve ever been in was the old Chicago Stadium. After these first 2 #StanleyCup games in Raleigh, I might have to rethink that. My ears still hurt!

Cried watching this about six times today
Jim Valvano taught us to enjoy life and to cherish every moment. As we continue this journey, we’re reminded that the Stanley Cup Final is about more than hockey. It’s about people, purpose, sacrifice, and appreciating the moments that bring us together.
