This entire month has been phenomenal and today was another great day to add to the momentum that’s taking place. We had a GREAT day conducting an official tour of Champions Bridge. I had a chance to share the importance of not just providing housing but building community and family for young people. I’m Looking forward to working with my official partner and brothers at @oursbrotherskeepers1 Today the County and State pulled up to check out the progress on the Child Wellness Campus. Our goal is real simple: show up for kids who are harder to serve, support our community, and make sure every kid has a place where they feel safe, seen, and like they truly belong—just like they deserve. You can’t do anything special without a team of people. You need the mental, physical, spiritual, cultural and tribal support of your team. My reputation that everyone sees and praise is really a reflection of my family and team of people I’m connected to. I have built great relationships with people that I’ve benefited greatly from. I appreciate them. My success is their success and vice versa. We all move forward together.

Kam Mercer is a massive get for Jerrod Calhoun and UC. Mercer helped lead Princeton to its first ever state championship in boys basketball as a sophomore. Was a top 10 national recruit in the class of 2028, but is reclassifying to graduate in 2027.

"Being Coach Calhoun's first big commit in the city as a high schooler means a lot. I hope everybody can look at me and start saying, like, 'Ok, we're going to stay home.'" One of the top ranked recruits in the country, Kam Mercer talks about his commitment to UC.

Flag football received a formal recommendation to become an NCAA sport. If legislation is approved by three divisions in January, its first championship projected to be held in spring 2028.

I was out in DC with my business partners helping to advance the mission we are on. It was a Short trip but a great visit. Had the honor of having honorable meetings on Capitol Hill and had a great time visiting the Pentagon. Im grateful for my main man @mdanie64 … I’ve appreciated the doors you’ve opened and the contacts you’ve allowed me to make. Funny story… on the day of the first event I called @djwilliams58 at 6am and told him I forgot my belt. I asked him if he was near a CVS or any store of sorts. He wasn’t near anything that was opened and tried to help me out with Post Mates. No stores were open that early so the mission wasn’t completed.…. We had to start the event at 9am… Him and his mother showed up at the hotel to meet myself and @mdanie64 so we could caravan to the event together. When he showed up he seen my struggle… he was like “my 🥷 can’t be trying to do million dollar business with his suit pants sagging 🤣🤣🤣” My man proceeded to give me the belt off his own waste. I was thankful, couldn’t stop laughing but it was a “moment” (pause) for me. If yall know DJ yall know he’s gone make everything funny. Appreciate my man helping me look like a professional in front of professionals. The biggest takeaway is Team Work…. The small things that ppl do reflect character!! Never forget that!
