New precedent just dropped.
On the lawsuit, a spokesperson for @GovernorVA said, "Under Virginia law, the Governor is 'the sole judge of the sufficiency of the cause for removal' of a member of a university board of visitors. Former Rector Rocovich was lawfully removed from the board."
Virginia Tech says they don't comment on pending litigation.

But the job is not done.
Career politicians have tried every trick in the book to get us out of this race and they’ve failed every time.
I am here to remind them that this office belongs to the people of Alabama, not them.
I am a former Navy SEAL and law enforcement officer. I know what sacrifice looks like and I know how to fight for America and the great people of Alabama.

More than three million Virginians cast their ballots in Virginia’s redistricting referendum, and the majority of Virginia voters voted to push back against a President who said he is ‘entitled’ to more Republican seats in Congress with a temporary and responsive referendum. They made their voices heard.
I am disappointed by the Supreme Court of Virginia’s ruling, but my focus as Governor will be on ensuring that all voters have the information necessary to make their voices heard this November in the midterm elections because in those elections we — the voters — will have the final say.
