Michael Oku discusses Speedball Mike Bailey's impact on his recent AEW appearances, and his career as a whole:
"I always ask for feedback from Speedball Mike Bailey. I feel very fortunate, I've been going to him for feedback for at least six, seven years now.
"I credit him for me understanding how to have really good matches, I'd go that far and say that.
"Of course we talk about Forbidden Door at The O2, he was my tag partner. I really credit that match going as well as it did in terms of putting a spotlight on me being because Speedball Mike Bailey knows me, knows what I can do, and tried to make sure that happened.
"When I found out I was wrestling (Kazuchika) Okada, I literally ran straight to him, I didn't go to anyone else. I went straight to him being like "Hey, help me." That's my guy right there, Speedball."

Last night at UWA Elite iWrestle, Jeff Cannonball was inducted into the UWA Elite Hall of Fame by The BROtein Pack. Relive all of Jeff Cannonball's most memorable moments in this career retrospective!
Jeff Cannonball made UWA Elite history in 2014 when he and Brandon Kirk captured the UWA Elite Tag Team Championships. The Rogues would go on to hold the titles for a record-breaking 470 days, a record that still stands today.
A decade later, Jeff once again captured the UWA Elite Tag Team Championshipsβthis time teaming with Troy Locke as The XβExpress.
During his acclaimed UWA Elite career, Jeff Cannonball earned several honors, including Tag Team of the Year (3Γ), Most Shocking Moment of the Year, and in 2024, Match of the Year Award for what would be his final match in UWA Elite.
Earlier this year, Jeff was diagnosed with ALS at the age of 38. The entire wrestling community came together and helped raise over $120,000 for Jeff's family following his diagnosis, proving that Jeff Cannonball is one of the most beloved members of the entire wrestling industry.
