I still remember exactly where and what I was doing when I heard the news. I don’t know what to do with all these feelings that will forever go unsaid to him. I’ll never be able to face him and tell him how he inspired me. To thank him in person. It still hurts so bad. Rest well.

That said, they aren’t necessarily friends either. Yes, you can have friends in the VA space, but you can’t assume everyone is instantly your homie.

They missed the fact that Robin Williams wasn't just a great actor. He was a virtuoso voice actor.
Matthew Lillard criticized the industry for prioritizing celebrities over voice actors in animation:
