I got 9th place at the Utrecht Special Event. I went undefeated in swiss. In top 16 i got the perfect read, but a 1% miss ruined game 1. Would 100% win without. Then i thought that he would adapt, but he didnt do that. The paste of the team: pokepast.es/281ea9556b90c23c

So normally i am not against banning mons from a metagame, but with usage stats like these i want Kingambit, Sneasler, Basculegion (male), Incineroar, Mega Floette and Mega Zard Y to be banned. Champions wanted the lowest powered format and fucked it up with these six pokemon.

Same goes for Floette and Charizard Y. Both mons are the best special attackers in the game. Besides them only Mega Gengar, Gardevoir, Frosslass and Blastoise are good special attacks, but they are worse the Floette and charizard. They are too strong that nothing else sees play.

Banning these five mons will make the metagame have more variantion and will make it more fun. Seeying Kingambit, Basculegion and Sneasler on 50% of the teams makes the games not fun to play / watch.

The Frosslass clicked Destiny Bond last turn. Was the last mon to move in the turn. Shouldnt the Mamoswine get kod by the Earthquake into the Froslass?

I know i will get hate with this take, but in my opinion they should make LAIC, EUIC and NAIC region locked. This means that players from Latam, EU and NA dont miss their big change in the season to qualify or have the change to play at the biggest tournament of the year. 1/2

From what i have seen so far (have not played it yet) i am really happy that Utrecht is reg I. In everything you can cleary see that ILCA build the game. Almost no held items ruins the entire game imo, with a lot of crucial items missing. The game as well is really buggy. 1/2

With megas not working as intended having huge impact on the viability of the mons. Also there are a lot of visual glitches and bugs that makes the game behave bad. I personally hope, even if that play at worlds, that vgc will still be on SV instead of this broken mess it is now.

Finished EUIC with a 8-5 recond and at 131th place. It sucks that i barely missed Top128, but really happy to have a day 2 again after two terrible results at majors. Also with this day 2 i have made day 2 at every event i can participate. Will improve and see you at Utrecht.

With the last big major done, i want to give my hot take about the games. They have the worst pokedex in the entire ten years that i have played competitive. The reason reg f is so stale is that almost all of the legendaries that are in the game dont have a usefull ability 1/6

Stakataka and Blacephalon. Besides legandaries we miss also other pokemon that makes certain formats way more wide. Normal mons are: Nidoking/queen, Ferrothorn, Togekiss, Crobat, Dracovish and Dracozolt and Jellicent. Might forget some, but these are the most important one 5/6
