MU Community and our board continue to promote Women’s league along with our other leagues. We work with FMPs from club teams like NoCo, Medusa, & Frostbite, all of whom have stepped up to attend league as players and subs, put on clinics and hat tournaments for the community.

A check of rosters shows that @medusaultimate has 22 WMP players on their team. @NoCoUltimate has 13 WMP. @FrostbiteUlt has 10 WMP. @MoxieUltimate had 17 WMP last year & @BlackCat_Women had 12 WMP last year.
Not a single current club or college player was at league last night.

It is not fair to assume that a lack of attendance for one (1) week of league indicates a lack of community support. Dozens of those same players are signed up for other leagues as well as attending their own practices.

Let’s focus on finding ways to bring more FMPs into our community and supporting the ones we already have. Without them, we wouldn’t have Milwaukee Ultimate.
