According to the core tenets of Islam it is actually haram for married Muslim sisters to be financially independent. If your husband actively takes care of your provision then why do you need to work? The role of a married woman in Islam is to be a full time house wife.

1. They have been my guys for years.
2. I’m not travelling to the UK for the first time. I only came home for the holidays and I’m simply returning.
3. Lastly, even when I was travelling for the first time, every single one of them in those pictures (and others who weren’t there) knew about every step I took — from the moment I decided to relocate, to my visa interviews, to when my visa was approved, to booking my flight. They all had my flight details and knew when I landed in the UK.
And I think that’s the beauty of brotherhood.
To have people who genuinely celebrate your wins, pray for your success, show up for your important moments, and walk through life’s major transitions with you.
May Allah preserve our friendships and surround us with people who sincerely want good for us.
