Building in public with daily updates is one of the most powerful accountability tool When you know you have to show progress every single day, it changes how you work The pressure and expectation to deliver something publicly on a daily basis no-matter how small forces consistency. Over time, that consistency compounds into momentum, and momentum compounds into results. Even on days when you don’t have motivation to work on your startup you have no choice because you need to show progress for that day.

Day 12 of growing @MinChatHQ ⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️ $0/$1k MRR I’ve been shipping and iterating a lot based on user feedback and MinChat is now at a stage that I’m no-longer embarrassed about the MVP 😅 Yet to convert a trial user, regardless I’m still focused on distribution, now more than ever considering I’m no-longer embarrassed by the MVP Today I redesigned the landing page to include a live demo of the AI customer support Additionally I added the MinChat branding to the chat widgets. Tomorrow’s objective is purely SEO focused, it’s a long term play but it will definitely pay off after some time. It will involve optimizing website page speeds, get started with writing the blog posts and case studies, and probably add in some important long-tail keywords to the landing page.

Day 6 of growing @MinChatHQ ⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️ $0/$1k MRR Narrowed down the vertical that Minchat should focus on; bootstrapped founders This involved updating the landing page copy and messaging to focus solely on bootstrapped saas founders. Also adjusted the pricing to better fit bootstrapped founders and indiehackers Got rid of the enterprise tier, have no plans of serving enterprise clients. Reasons for focusing on bootstrapped founders; 1️⃣ My current documented marketing methods that I established on the day 4 build in public update all target where mostly bootstrapped founders and indiehackers hangout 2️⃣ The general “AI support” platform space is currently very overcrowded so I’m niching down 3️⃣ Wanted to offer a product that is more cost effective for bootstrapped founders than all the other customer support tools out there The past few days I’ve been focused more on distribution than the actual product I’m using @posthog to track at which stage that users are “falling off” whenever they visit @MinChatHQ At each point I optimize further and further hence why a lot of modifications are currently happening to the landing page and not the actual product Plan is to start optimizing the actual product once people start getting past the trial setup page.

Day 4 of growing @MinChatHQ ⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️ $0/$1k MRR Properly documented my Go-To-Market strategy: ✅ build in public on X ✅ Participate in relevant reddit communities (r/saas, r/indiehackers, etc) ✅ Content Marketing for SEO through a MinChat blog ✅ launching in as many startup directories as possible I implemented changes to the landing page from the feedback shared by prospects that I have been requesting feedback from. My starting goal is still to get a paying user within 28 days, 24 days to go till deadline Bigger picture is still to be able to reach $10k MRR but we take it one step at a time Still need to validate the MVP.

One trial user did a brutal teardown of my landing page and shared a goldmine of insights. I’m already shipping fixes. Another user needed the pre‑pivot version of MinChat. I updated the dashboard and landing so anyone who needs the old MinChat (the chat SDK) can find it and get served easily. Still experimenting different tactics to find early users to talk to for feedback So far I have collected some feedback from X and reddit, open to ideas of where to find more users for feedback.
