I come across a lot of interesting baseball clips, so I decided to create an account to post all of these stills

Well, it was fun again for about five minutes 🫠
Meanwhile, Michael Harris has been pulled from the game

All of Sandy León’s hits this season don’t even add up to 473 feet.

Drake Baldwin just tied a Ronald Acuña Jr bomb from 2020 for the 6th-longest homer at Truist Park Only Ronald Acuña Jr. (twice), Kyle Schwarber, Marcell Ozuna, and Travis d'Arnaud have hit a ball further

Braves catchers slashed .110/.108/.123 with Baldwin out, a .231 OPS. If you subtracted the .231 OPS from Baldwin's .932 OPS, you'd have roughly the same OPS as Austin Hedges, who has a 99 wRC
The Drake is back! #BravesCountry

This was mentioned on the latest @PodcastDoesnt, but I wanted to expand on it.... The Chicago White Sox have had 12 first-year rookies suit up for the team this year, which leads MLB by three players. Last year, the Marlins and A's tied for the league lead at 16. The MLB record post-integration is 23, set by the 2022 Oakland Athletics. Less than half way through the season, the White Sox are on pace to break this while also making the playoffs

Is Max Muncy underrated?

Max Muncy is 21st all-time in Dodger position player bWAR, but he's only 6 bWAR away from the 10th spot. Yet, I feel like Muncy's talked about like a role player

I feel like this is a bad omen... (also Jack compared Adam Silver to Bat Boy)

The craziest thing is that this was Dustin May's first career complete game at ANY professional level. The only other time he finished a game was when he came on in relief as an 18-year-old in rookie ball. Kind of wild to make $22 million in your career and not know what it's like to dap up your catcher after finishing up a game until you're 10 years into your pro career
Dustin May had never gotten more than 21 outs in one MLB game but tonight pitched his first career complete game and it was a shutout to boot!

I don't think this is getting enough coverage... There have only been 9 players in the Wild Card Era with an OPS of at least 1.000 in their first MLB season (min. 100 PAs) None of them had an OPS of 1.000 the following season, and only Erubiel Durazo could claim to never have a season with an OPS below 1.000 before reaching the majors. Durazo has ONE (1) MiLB season listed on Baseball-Reference

More importantly, Nick Kurtz's two-homer night has lifted his OPS for the season over 1.000, so his baseball-reference page will feature a four-digit OPS for every season he has on record.

According to Baseball Savant, Keith's average home run distance was 367 feet, which is the 5th-lowest average of any 3 homer game in the statcast era
Colt Keith today: 3 HR 6 RBI He’s hit his 2nd, 3rd, and 4th homer of the season today 🤯

I was really bracing for the worst tears of joy, really
Following a consultation with Dr. Keith Meister today, RHP Spencer Strider will be shut down from throwing for four weeks and then undergo a follow-up MRI. Provided that scan is clear, he will then begin a throwing progression.
