Year 3 have been exploring their dreams and ambitions as citizens this week. We have been thinking about our journey to success and created a dreams garden! We have aspiring footballers, artists, hairdressers, gamers, karate masters and teachers to name a few! @Cabotfederation

To finish off our amazing Philosophers learning, Y3 had Encounter Christianity visit to do "What is the fuss about Christmas?" They enjoyed interviewing all the people of the Nativity, including King Harold! @Cabotfederation

Year 4 used their resilience and creativity to create designs using collograph blocks - we loved seeing how our prints turned out in our books. #cabotfederation

Year 6 refreshed their knowledge on circuits, designing and making circuits that lit up, spun round or made sounds that could be operated by switches. They had fun working scientifically to test, strengthen and improve their circuits and problem solve when things didn’t work.

Year 3 really enjoyed their Whole class reading lesson today, linked with being a Philosopher! They had an extra challenging of working together to find the answers around the classroom. @Cabotfederation

Year 3 have enjoyed printing this week as Artists. They loved designing their tile especially for winter or Christmas! @Cabotfederation

Year 4 explored perimeter outside and used different measuring tools to find out the perimeter of parts of our playground. We showed fantastic teamwork and resilience when things were tricky to measure. #cabotfederation

A very important citizens lesson today for upper KS2 about screen and device safety. We heard some strong messages about how we can control our usage and stay safe. @Cabotfederation

Filton had a great time on the laptops for their pom pom treat! We enjoyed playing games and using animator. Some of us even showed fantastic learner bee relationships when technical issues hit. Well done Filton! @Cabotfederation

Year 3 have been learning about forces and gravity. We used our jumping and oracy skills to discuss what gravity is and worked with our partners to explore push and pull forces. We absolutely love being scientists! @Cabotfederation

Clifton loved using their phoenix ELLI skill to create a map of their own fantasy land inspired by our text The Land of Roar. We are excited to write setting descriptions about them later in our authors unit. #cabotfederation

Clifton loved using the laptops for their pom-pom reward this afternoon. The animation app was definitely a class favourite but some children chose to spend time practice their times tables too! #cabotfederation
