Today on Davis Day, we remember the miners who lost their lives underground and honour the generations of Nova Scotians who helped build our province through hard work, courage and sacrifice.
Mining communities have played an important role in Nova Scotia’s story. Their resilience helped power our economy, support families and shape communities across the province.
We reflect on that legacy, remember those we lost, and pay tribute to those whose contributions will never be forgotten.
