Insane that once the privacy narrative kicked up that @BITMAINtech releases a new $XMR rig.
It's likely as low quality as the first batch that they released, and will break down almost immediately with next to no support.
Just use retired CPU's and help keep ewaste out of dumps

I know @PlushieDreadful typically creates plushies designed as rabbits, but I keep thinking up ways to make Kittarou (鬼太郎)/(きたろう) into a plush in the Dreadful style.
The big problem is that I'm absolutely horrible at making plushies, might still attempt it though.

If the Naruto TCG rumours are true, it will likely end up as busted as the other Bandai TCG's that are currently on the market.

- Streaming services alter original content to push narratives.
- New vehicles are tracking your every move, some even down to your bodyweight.

The US Government has given #Bittensor the best endorsement it could ever ask for
They proved the entire thesis for why we need permissionless and decentralised AI
Anthropic were forced by the Government to suspend access to Fable and Mythos models for any foreign nationals..
It doesn't matter what you think of Anthropic morals.. what the Governments reasons were.. whether the model was dangerous or not..
The point is.. Closed AI can be switched off
We’ve been banging this drum in #bittensor for four years now
If frontier intelligence can be restricted.. it will be restricted.. If access can be gatekept.. it will 100% be gatekept
If a small group of powerful men and women can decide who gets intelligence and who doesn’t.. they will absolutely use that power

Intelligence is just too important to have it sit behind permissioned walls controlled by governments and corporations

- Most new mobile phones can revoke your access to the network, and are training AI models using your every move.
We surrendered most all of our privacy and ownership for something dressed as convenience.

Without true ownership, we will indeed own nothing.
Physical Media > Digital
Local Storage/AI > Cloud Services
It doesn't have to be the way that they're trying to make it.
You can still take back some control, they're hoping that we just roll over and surrender control.

I don't use much AI related stuff at all because I have yet to find a productive use for it (personally); but having control privacy is exactly why I spin up Ollama whenever I want to use it to consolidate research sources/papers for cross comparison.

The world's biggest brands weren't built around products.
They were built around characters.
Characters people recognize.
Characters people remember.
Characters people form connections with.
That's why I think Chimpers is taking a different path than most Web3 projects.

Kind of just a random Kit-WIP to get back into flow after the last month of hospital stays, but it feels SO good to be experimenting with my paints again.
Mostly just playing with texture, it reminded me of a turtle shell, so I'm painting it as such.

Feeling chimpish.
Today we signed a contract that’s been months in the making and, in many ways, the result of 3 years of persistence, networking, and building the Chimpers brand from the moment we first started posting on social media.
We’ve always said that building is a marathon, not a sprint, and it’s hard to put into words just how much time, energy, and effort has gone into reaching this point.
Not a flashy announcement. But a partnership that we believe can help Chimpers grow the right way over the coming years and move the brand closer to what we know it can become.
In many ways, the road ahead is only just beginning.
There’s still a hell of a lot of work to do.
But today is a good day.

I think people don't truly understand the full value of what @ChimpersHQ did for their NFTs when they added lore and names to each NFT... so let me try to break it down a bit more.
1. Lore name increases holder value with a deeper connection to their favorite NFTs.
2. World building - this will sound cliche, but Disney started with 1 main character and then built an entire world.
3. Chimpi is the main character, and the NFTs are the other characters in the world that's being built.
I compare Chimpi to Pengu, Mickey Mouse, Spongebob... the early stages of a booming IP.
The signs are there, Chimpi is already becoming a globally loved IP with dedicated fans across the world.
