The @DrewBarrymoreTV Show is a WGA covered, struck show that is planning to return without its writers. The Guild has, and will continue to, picket struck shows that are in production during the strike. Any writing on “The Drew Barrymore Show” is in violation of WGA strike rules.

THE CHANGELING streams on Apple TV today! I'm proud of our big, bold fairy tale. With the WGA strike, I'm doing no press. But I've gotta talk about the woman who made the show, KELLY MARCEL. She fought so hard. I want to share the secrets of how she got it made at all.

It’s been about two months, and well, not much has changed for Powell’s employees. Technically, we’re working without a contract right now. Please considering signing and sharing this petition. All we’re asking for is a fair wage and healthcare. They can afford it.
I haven’t talked about it much here, but the employees at Powell’s Books (yes, where I work) are fighting for a living wage and better healthcare. Powell’s isn’t keen on giving us either. We’re asking folks to read, sign, and share this petition 💖 bit.ly/tell-powells

I apologize in advance for the thread TK but the publishing discourse du jour is making me feel like my brain is melting out of my ears and if we're talking about GREAT EDITORS, we might as well do a little line edit — shall we?

No, it’s a writer snack.
Welcome to “girl dinner.” Women across TikTok are showing off their suppers — snack plates made by one person, for the consumption and enjoyment of one person. They're akin to an aesthetically pleasing Lunchable. nyti.ms/3OfbZt7

All props to Cormac McCarthy and RIP, but might we stop these last of the lit giants heds? Or say what you really mean, which is “Wish I could be a cishet white man writing in post WWII America, those were the days!” THERE ARE PLENTY OF LIT GIANTS AROUND IN THE HERE AND NOW.

It also sets a terrible precedent. Only successful, financially comfortable authors can afford to pull their own book on the of eve of publication in response to complaints. But in the future less fortunate authors may also be expected to do so.
