When graphing VRS as a network model, with matches having a gravitational effect, you can visibly identify 5 distinct ecosystems (not counting Tier 1) However, these 5 distinct scenes dont often overlap Should teams that dont interact have to compete for the same major invites?

Realised a while back that not storing the VRS data was a bit stupid. Im now storing 48,257,352 VRS datapoints which can actually be publicly accessible, instead of hidden away in a spreadsheet. Time to do bigger things

not explicitly, the Alliance & Sinners cases are very complex. I only store placements in memory and dont commit to disk, i onl;y store ranking details for later review. I can check what a team requires by force inputting results and then seeing the outputted predictions (i.e if I set future results as having happened). Checking the explicit cases for Alliance and Sinners is a bit more complicated At a point in time I can check which is more likely (same case with MIBR & Liquid), but whats actually required is very complex.

The VRS githubs are rather out of date. The current README is based on an outdated model from 32 months ago. The major rulebook still has the invite breakdown from Budapest.

I'm looking into cases of VRS tournaments, especially LANs, that have failed to pay out prizes. If this has happened to you, my DMs are open.

Dont understand what youre looking at? An interactive model might explain this better at bit.ly/VRSNetwork You can see each specific team and what connections they have

For the Budapest major, LANW's and local LANs became significantly more important for the final rankings. However, its important to note that this has now essentially reversed. There are currently 69 teams with >0.8 LANW, with over half having >0.95 LANW. Such that teams are practically tied. This tie ends up being decided by teams' online results in cups and open qualifiers. During this major run, alot of teams' fates were decided on LAN, but they could have been as equally decided online. With teams being capped out and equal on LANW, it ends up where Bounty Offered, Bounty Collected and Opponent Network become the difference makers. There is no difference in weighting for these latter 3 components whether a tournament is offline / online, and often they are more plentiful online too.

This is great Online CS is plagued with matchfixing and cheaters. Thank god VRS prioritizes LANs

Has LAN wins gone too far within VRS, or is it a necessary barrier? 🇺🇸Austin 25 - Pretty much exclusive to T1 teams 🇭🇺Budapest 25 - A difference maker for the major 🇩🇪Cologne 26 - Now mandatory to compete within the top 75 More accurate data & improved integrity, but at a cost

🇪🇺 FaZe have been eliminated from major contention. 🇨🇿 SINNERS have made the major. Hope youve all enjoyed the VRS sims, been fun for me. Will likely film a video tomorrow giving my opinions on the current state of VRS, some pros, cons and alot in between. Thanks all

I dont see this 80 for FaZe at all and dont believe they can reach Stage 2. Ive cross checked my own VRS breakdown for FaZe with HLTV's major breakdown and dont see a difference either. Very confused, we will see.
