We put our Roman shields to use and tried out some Roman battlefield tactics! We tried the turtle, the wedge and many more. Children had to consider the effectiveness of each one 🛡️

Symmetrical Roman Shields 🛡️
Over the past two weeks P3 have been learning about the Roman Army! We created our own Roman shields by drawing a line of symmetry down the middle, completing one side and mirroring it on the other. Next step- painting 🖌️

P5K worked in teams to build a wheelbarrow. We then had to transport our class monster around our classroom successfully. Great teamwork and problem solving displayed by all. 🤩
