I haven’t posted since September (🤯), but don’t be fooled, we had a great year in Grade 2! Lots of laughs, learning and growing. This is a special group that I’ll remember forever. Wishing them all the best as they move on to Grade 3. Happy Summer, MAA Moose! 💙🫎💛

In the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation Week, we have been talking about what it means to matter. We read two books today, “The Sharing Circle” by Theresa Larsen-Jonasson and “You Hold Me Up” by Monique Gray Smith. We made our own Sharing Circle and shared what holds us up. 🧡

This cozy little Kindergarten classroom is all ready to welcome seven littles to school for the first time tomorrow. I’m excited for all the fun we’ll have and memories we’ll make in this room together throughout the year. 🥰

I’m excited to share I’ve accepted a position teaching Kindergarten at Tabusintac Community School for the upcoming school year. I am going to miss my Millerton family and kids terribly, but I’m hopeful I’ll be back again someday. Until then, onto the next adventure. ❤️🖤🌪

“P” continued…

Z is for Zoom Out! We were zooming around all day making sure everyone had all their belongings before heading home for the summer.
Y is for Yoga! Or… at least it was supposed to be. We had lots of fun things happening on this day as a school and we didn’t get a chance to be yogis. 🤪

P is for Petting Farm! We skipped “P” to save it for this special activity. The Healing Farm visited our school with their animals and our students loved getting to interact with them. 😊
T is for Tic-Tac-Toe! We have a Tic-Tac-Toe challenge on this day. Students went around the room playing against their classmates to see who could get the most wins.

U is for Up! We had a movie day. We watched Up and had a yummy popcorn snack.
