Really loving this beamspring keyboard. Been daily driving it for the last while, and it's just so electrifying to type on. It's definitely not a keyboard for everyone, but to me, it's quite the experience.

Cutesy neko alice keyboard! These have very pillowy silent linears in them.

It's been a good while listening to those new speakers. It's hard going back to my older pair or even to headphones.
I really wish I could stream with speakers, but I know it'll just get picked up by my mic.

New speaker pair completed! This was overall a really fun and productive project. I'm really happy with how the speakers turned out, both in how it looks and sounds. Not too shabby for custom DIY speakers.

I think all in, the money spent on these building these speakers put it a little up there compared to ready-made speakers. But such is the price of going custom I suppose.
However, I think the experience of building these was well worth it. It's such a treat.

And that's one speaker done! I'm still working on the second one, but I expect to be done with that some time tomorrow when it's fully cured. But giving the first speaker a test, I'm very satisfied with how it sounds. Will update on that once I got both hooked up!

A relatively flat response, something I'm looking for in this speaker. The lows are expected, but it'll give me a general idea of where to have the subwoofer crossover at. I'll have to test the second speaker the same way once that's done

Haven't EQed anything yet, but just comparing these to my last speakers, they're bright and airy, and despite that the bass and mids are not lost at all. Pretty amazing quality for something DIY.

One of the last parts for my speakers is coming in today. I should be able to finish one of them tonight and give that a listen.

My speaker parts are in! Can't wait to paint and finish this up. Still gotta solder up the crossover board, but I'll probably do that while the glue or paint dries.

I think the technical bits of putting this together will be the easiest part of the project. The hardest part will be deciding what paints to use and what finish I'd like to settle on. There's so many choices and so many nice looks for this speaker build.
