Don't be mad! It's March Book Madness! We have started our reading bracket! We have two books in the elite 8 so far! Milo Imagines the World by @mattdelapena and Messha Makes Friends by @TomPercivalsays. We have had such fun reading these important stories! @hempfield

In November we have been talking about all the things we are grateful for! We read the book, The Golden Acorn by Katy Hudson, and discussed how we can always use help from others! Then we wrote thank you notes to those that help us out everyday! @hempfield

Fall is in the air! Today second graders learned about the Lonely Scarecrow and found evidence to support how he might be feeling and why he is feeling that way. They also wrote fall poems using their five senses! #readingisfun #fallisintheair @hempfield
